at Bon Secours Spiritual Center, Marriottsville, MD. This is a 2 day overnight stay for women who have recently completed their treatment in the last year to 18 months. It provides an opportunity to find your new normal, set new life goals, network with others, learn stress management techniques, yoga and other programs. Johns Hopkins Patient Advocacy Conference
Join Lillie Shockney for a 2 day conference dedicated to various aspects of patient advocacy in the care and treatment of individuals with cancer. Examples of content include: Developing a specific patient bill of rights for the patient population you treat; the role of patient education and navigation across the continuum of care; the role of patient advocacy in the research setting. For more information contact shockli@jhmi.edu This course will be CEU accredited by the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing for 13.2 CEUs. The registration fee for nurses is $300. All healthcare professionals and those working in an advocacy role are welcome to register and attend.
